ROADVIEW coordinator Prof. Eren Erdal Aksoy was invited to introduce the project at the latest online meeting of the Trilateral Europe-US-Japan Working Group on Automation in Road Transportation, which took place on November 7.
This group, which is a cooperation between the European Commission, the US Department of Transportation, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan, has among its missions to allow each region/country to learn from one another’s programs, identify areas of cooperation where each region will benefit from coordinated research activities, and engage in cooperative research and harmonisation activities.
In the part of the meeting dedicated to the EU regional updates, the international cooperations planned under the shelter of ROADVIEW were discussed. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness about the project activities in its early stage.
