On 27 and 28 February 2025, the ROADVIEW project partners gathered in Ingolstadt, Germany, for the 7th General Assembly. Hosted by Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt – CARISSMA Institute of Automated Driving, the event brought together around 27 participants from the fifteen partner organisations in the consortium, along with special guests who contributed their expertise and explored opportunities for future collaboration with the ROADVIEW consortium.
The first day of the meeting featured presentations from work package leaders, who provided updates on their progress within the ROADVIEW project. These presentations led to productive discussions and helped partners define priorities for the coming months.
On the second day, participants began with a tour of the CARISSMA outdoor test track and vehicles (Fig. 1), followed by a demonstration of the Vehicle-in-the-Loop (ViL) technology. They then explored the indoor facilities, where they attended a demonstration of CARISSMA’s Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) technology. After these demonstrations, partners participated in focus group meetings to discuss various aspects of the ROADVIEW project, including the integration of upcoming demonstrations, the validation of the X-in-the-Loop (XiL) environment, and potential opportunities for follow-up projects.
The two-day meeting provided a valuable opportunity for partners to exchange insights, align on key objectives, and strengthen collaboration as the project moves forward.
